Phips dad died in a car crash. The book never did say if it was murder, suicide or a accident. I think That it was a accident. And philips dads ghost is telling him to kill his uncle because he doesnt want philips mother to be remarried.

In hamlet he doesnt know if he should commit suicide to just get out of eveything and make things better, or if he should stay alive and avenge his fathers murder. In the dead fathers club philip doesnt know if his uncle really killed his dad. I think philip is really confused on what to do and who to believe. Philip never did anything to uncle i think he didnt think his uncle killed his father.

We get to know the spirt through what he tells Philip about his death and his facial expreshions. I think the spirt should be considdered as a character. He is popping in and out all the time and the book is basically about him and his death. And Philip trusts the spirt because its his father and all children trust there parents even if they lie to them all the time. And Philip still even trusts him even though the spirt got him into loads of trouble for no reason.

It is Kinda Easy to understand what is real from things that are not real. Philip really sees his dads ghost. But he cant see all the other ghosts. I dont really know if philip is really seeing his father or if its just his imagination taking over. He could just be imagining his dad cuz he misses him so much, or he could really be seeing his ghost.

The dead fathers club is just like hamlet in the beginning cuz in hamlet his father shows himself to hamlet and asks hamlet to get revenge on his murder by killing him. he also tells hamlet how he died. The only differece is that other people could see hamlets father and only philip can see his fathers ghost. Thses differences exist because they dont wanna wright the same play and book into another book it would just get really boreing.

I would miss all my freedom and all the privacy of this time. I would not want to live in this time period beacause you cant have any privacy or do what you want and you would be afraid of your own children turning you in to the thought police and it would just be really tought to do.

Double think is like thinking on your own and believing whatever wanna believe not believing in what big brother wants you to think. Your thoughts is what makes you a individual person and big brother doesnt want that he wants you to think certain things and a certain ways.

Orwell I think is warning us that the goverment is to powerful and one day life could be like this. so we shouldnt give one person so much power because then they will blow it way outta proportion.

Because sex it a kind of individualism and big brother doesnt want that he wants everyone the same so they all think the same and that way it is easier to control them and the state.

Room 101 in a torture room where they take people who hate big brother to try to get them to love him and the brain wash them and cause pain to them until they start loving him and believe in what he wants you to think.
